Counselling offers a great opportunity to explore yourself or your relationship without judgement, within a confidential environment, but it takes courage to seek it and choose to participate, therefore it is essential to find the right counsellor for you.

I specialise in counselling Children, Young people, Families, Couples & Individuals within short and longer term therapy covering areas of Relationships, Self Esteem, Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement, Loss, Anger Issues, Self Harm, Abuse, Trauma, as well as Family Dynamics, Parenting & Behaviour Management.

I am very transparent in my work and I am always mindful of keeping a balanced therapeutic relationship respectful of the client's needs and pace.

I am Person Centred (client led) in my approach and my belief is always to get the client to being empowered and self sufficient as soon as they can, but without the quick fix.

As an Integrative (Humanistic) counsellor my practice I can bring a wide selection of skills and theories which can range from being be creative (and playful, especially with children) due to my interests lying within Gestalt and body focused theories, to more cognitive approaches such as Transactional analysis, CBT and Systemic, which enables me to respond most appropriately to the clients need.

All of my work though is underpinned by the 'relationship' and the collaborative experience with the client.
